01/07 Armada: Jet Optimus (With Overload), Burning Galva
A rarity - Optimus Prime and Galvatron transform simultaneously. Galvatron first merges with Tidal Wave to form Burning Galvatron, then Optimus Prime and Jetfire form Jet Optimus. What’s odd is that Prime then calls for “Ultra Magnus” to combine - Ultra Magnus is the Japanese name for Overload in Micron Legend. In the US, an Ultra Magnus was released during Energon as a white repaint of Overload, created to recall the Optimus Prime/Ultra Magnus combination of Omega Prime from the “Robots In Disguise” series. But in Armada, there was only the orange Overload. It’s odd because they’ve been using the name Overload already throughout the Armada series. (less)
